We held our wedding day at the Racquet Club early September 2012. The staff were fabulous from start to finish. Sue coordinated everything wonderfully in advance and Rob took care of everything on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. They were flexible in the planning stages and took time to ensure we had exactly what we wanted for our big day. The food was gorgeous and everybody commented on the waiting staff who were attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is beautifully different, full of character! It's in a great location in the city centre which was perfect for the many many out of towners who came to the wedding. They got to see Liverpool itself. Not just the interiors of a hotel. Plenty of photo opps inside or outside the hotel. Perfect for our day and would recommend to any couple. Also a great venue for any party/occasion. Our guests are already wondering what reason they could use it for themselves! Thank you to the staff 🙂

My husband and I had visited The Albert Dock and were looking to get something to eat and couldn't believe we found this wonderful place by chance! it is very well hidden I have probably walked past the building quite a few times, such stunning interior and really quiet, perfect for a date night. We were greeted at the door by a smiley beautiful young girl, who took our coats, showed us to a table and looked after us for the rest of the night, she couldn't of been more attentive and delightful even listened to my husband ramble on for 15 minutes about utter nonsense while she looked genuinely interested, then he started to ramble about wine before she suggested a delicious one, she really made us feel welcome! Then there was the food- absolutely pipping hot, exquisite, every course and just fantastic presentation and a perfect portion, after the starter and main we were absolutely stuffed until we seen a few deserts go past us from another table, lets just say we somehow managed to find some room, and we didn't regret it. We then had a latte which had to mentioned because its just a work of art the way it was presented. An all round excellent, mellow, intimate, just perfect night, going to visit again very soon! Hats off to the chef and thank you to the young red headed girl who looked after us. She made the night!

Just had to come on and write this review about this fabulous venue where me an my husband got married in December 13. We booked in March 13 an from then to our wedding day nothing was too much trouble for Sue an the team, one aspect of the service that I cannot compliment enough is how quick Sue or another member of the team responded to our e-mails an questions, even over the smallest things. When the day came it couldnt of gone any smoother. We had our ceremony and reception here and everything from day to night was just brilliant, Sue, Rob and the team know exactly what needs to be done an when so we could just enjoy the day, such lovely people. The food was a definate highlight, so many people have mentioned to us just how much they enjoyed the meal an also the fish an chip cones an burgers in the evening. I could go on and on about how much we loved it, but i'll just finish by saying that if your looking for a wedding venue you have to go to The Racquet Club! We'll definately be visiting for a long time to come! Thanks again to everyone there for helping to make our day so amazing, Helen and Dean.

I don't know where to begin and there aren't enough words to describe this place! Phenomenal! The building, the interior, the bedrooms, the food and mainly the staff! From the very 1st second we came to look round to the lady one of us leaving on Sunday they have been amazing! Polite, friendly, helpful, organised, patient, fun and impeccable! I can not recommend this venue enough! We've had dates here too along the way of planning. Nothing has been too much - the family dog even stayed overnight and got to come to our reception! I felt stress free, reassured and confident that our day would go to plan! I felt like a princess from the moment I came in to set up to the moment we left the next day! Had a fabulous wedding here. the staff were amazing and looked after us very well. Very organised. Was always at the end of an e-mail to answer any queries I had and believe me that is an absolute godsend when you are a stressed out bride! The food was gorgeous. the venue is stunning and they had set the room up to exactly how I wanted it. Sue is such an asset to the hotel, we made some big changes to the wedding a few months before and she helped sort it all out with me and was so supportive so thank you for that!
